Halfway through the year, and this is my first journal entry! What happened, there? I haven't had a journal entry since 2010? That's crazy! It was December, but still. That's too long.

I am still struggling with my art, but it's getting better. I actually drew something recently! It's in my gallery and I'll probably scrap it later, but I was so excited that I had to post it.
I'm also working on an entry for 's ongoing contest that I'm really excited about. Speaking of that, I really need to finish; the deadline's approaching! I don't think I'm gonna win, but just entering will be fun. It'll be the first art contest I enter since I was like... twelve. XD

So, update on me. I'm twenty-three, a licensed massage therapist working at a chain-clinic called Massage Envy. The horrible stories about the place aren't true and I've been having a good time there. I was just worried a bit because I was out off and on for about three and a half weeks. I sprained my thumb by pseudo-crashing on the scooter (two weeks), and then I got a cold (week and a half). But! I'm back and it's awesome.
